Typical pressure vessels exceeding 450 liters capacity include air receivers, steam boilers, steam generators, and LPG storage tanks, which are subject to inspection in accordance with applicable national regulations.

Pressure vessels with a volume of less than 450 liters (cylinders), such as LPG, nitrogen, and other gas cylinders, are subject to periodic inspection under approved procedures for re-certification and supervision of refillable pressure vessels.
